Engage for Education – Scottish Government
Engage for Education is a multi-purpose platform used to host online conversations with people across Scotland interested in education policy, whether inside the system or not. It combined consultations, comments on news stories, and offline events, to try and get input into the policymaking process, and aims to close the feedback loop with its ‘We Asked, You Said, We Did’ section.
Engage was launched in 2010 as a result of Cabinet Secretary Michael Russell’s desire to provide a means of direct and transparent conversation for all concerned with education issues. The Education Secretary was and is clear that he wants to listen to all those who have thoughts and ideas about improving education in Scotland
