The Office for National Statistics have been using YouTube to present animated versions of their general-interest statistical reports, with a voiceover:

Short video from the ONS looking at sickness absence in the labour market.

It shows the total number of working days lost due to sickness absence and the percentage of working hours lost due to sickness from 1993 to 2011. It also shows the most common reasons for sickness absence in 2011.

It goes on to compare sickness absence rates for men and women, differences between the public sector and the private sector, and differences in sickness absence rates depending on size of firm.
