Answering a question about criticism of the FCO on Quora

Shane Dillon works at the Foreign Office, but more importantly, is an enthusiastic and highly effective, consistent user of social media to widen his professional network and advance the policies of his employer. In this answer to a thread on Quora asking whether criticism of the FCO is justified, he posts a short response including a video of the minister addressing the issue in question:

I do not think the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office are slow to help British citizens.  The Foreign Secretary, William Hague does a good job outlin[ing] the breadth of the Consular work from the Foreign Office

   Steph thanks for highlighting what was in fact a quick win. I think what demonstrates is that having a video to hand that answers a question that is perhaps loaded with criticism is a good technique. I have always believe that an organisation that has good content, videos, blogs or website can reply by letting the content speak for itself.
